La Alhambra was built in the 9th century by the Muslims and overlooks the entire city. It was placed there for defensive reasons and was added onto in subsequent years by different rulers. The entire place was impressive and the gardens were beautiful. It was bigger than I thought and took nearly two hours to walk through. It was a place that I would definitely like to return to someday. I feel like I would get something new out of it each time.
Oh, and I also figured out my camera has these awesome color settings on it, that singles our one color and can even color swap (Thanks Laura!). It’s a Canon SD1100. Check it out.
